The rooms at Summer House Backpackers are spacious and well-equipped with fans and AC. We enjoyed a comfortable stay. The rooftop area and bar downstairs added to the fun and social atmosphere. Great location near the beach with nice places to eat nearby.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the CBD, botanical garden, and beach. There's even a cute coffee shop right across the street. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the big lockers provided ample storage. The staff was friendly and helpful, with the reception open 24/7. Guests enjoyed free breakfast every day, including toast, cereal, and even pancakes on Sundays. The cleanliness and maintenance of the bathrooms were particularly commendable.
There were some noise issues in the hostel, especially during parties and events.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location couldn't have been better, as it was close to Luna Park and right at a bus stop near a junction diagonally opposite the hostel. Plus, the St Kilda beach was just a short walk away. The service here was top-notch, with room service, housekeeping, and laundry facilities available. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing assistance with tours and tickets. The rooms were comfortable and clean, equipped with amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and a sitting area. We also appreciated the shared kitchen, which was well-stocked with cookware and utensils. The on-site restaurant and bar/lounge area were great for dining and relaxing, and the breakfast provided was delicious. the staff, facilities, and location of this place made our stay truly enjoyable.
